Lambeth Community Parklets: Design, Build, and Enjoy!

Lambeth Community Parklets: Design, Build, and Enjoy!

We are delighted to announce that we have been selected to partner with Lambeth Council to design and deliver the Community Parklets in Lambeth. This is an amazing opportunity for the community to come together and create some truly special green spaces that everyone can enjoy.

Lambeth Council is looking to build 25 new community parklets in one of the largest programs of its kind. Residents are invited to submit their own designs, which could include planters, tables, seating, children's play activities, cycle storage and lots of colourful planting to create new green spaces.

Bath Sensory Garden: A splash of colour for Twerton!

Bath Sensory Garden: A splash of colour for Twerton!

Meristem Design have recently completed another project in the Bath area. This time, the installations were focused in Tweton, a smaller, residential area just outside of Bath City Centre.  We also installed Planters with graphics on to support the parking of both regular and cargo bikes for visitors to the area. These planters were planted up by a local community group that engaged in the project from the beginning and will look after and maintain the plants and planters going forward.

Following successful schemes in Kent, Meristem Design were appointed by Ashford Council to design and install a seating area to bring life to the town centre. This temporary pilot scheme delivers some interventions that link to key themes from the Town Centre Reset – integrated play, feature lighting, temporary public realm and outdoor seating. If successful this could lead to further, more permanent features in the future.
