Anyone who is familiar with Meristem Design will already know that we are the UK’s leading supplier of On-Street Parklets, with 40 installed last year.
However, following the recent COVID crisis we have been asked to adapt our new range of Parklets to allow cafes, bars and restaurants to use road space for outdoor dining.
Although COVID-19 is disrupting the lifestyles of those around the world, this could be the year cities are transformed into safer, healthier spaces, serving local businesses and residents. People within cities are seen cycling and walking more during this time, with likely trends of active transport continuing after lockdown measures are ceased.
