1. Best Healthy Streets Business Improvement District Project:
UK's First Business Parklets
- Joint application with Hammersmith BID for our Parklets on Hammersmith Grove which are part of a wider initiative to deliver green spaces, cleaner air, and promote cycling. 2. Best Healthy Streets Behaviour Change Initiatives Award:
Car Free Street Parties
- We work with councils and schools to provide "Car free Street Parties" across London". By removing cars, the streets are handed back to the local residents, so enabling play, walking and cycling. We provide real lawn turf, trees, hay bales, bunting to show what can be done when cars are removed. We have hosted 12 Car Free Street Parties in the past year alone, contact us if your schools or local street would like to organise a similar event.
The annual awards recognise and reward excellence in the planning and delivery of Healthy Street improvements in towns and cities across Great Britain & Ireland.
The Healthy Streets Awards ceremony will be hosted by Val Shawcross, former Deputy Mayor for Transport, London at Guildhall, London on Friday 12th October.
