Meristem have teamed up with Landor Publishing to create an easy to follow step by step guide to creating safer streets and social spaces.    The publication looks at how the high streets can reopen safely and provide much needed outdoor seating for bars and restaurants.

All the recent data suggests people are much safer socialising in outdoor spaces yet many of our high streets are too narrow to allow tables and chairs to be placed on narrow pavements without blocking access to pedestrians and wheelchair access.

It also points towards various government funding streams currently available to provide such facilities to local councils.  We truly hope this guide provides some assistance to help our high streets to reopen safely and successfully, saving jobs at the centre of our community.
